Just letting everyone know that while at Mt. Hood this past week I tried on a Large 2010 jacket. The thing is massive and not for the feint of heart. I am 6'5 and was wearing a 6XL hoodie at the time and the Large was as big as it. Came down to about 3 inches above my knees. Just a heads up, trying to help you guys out.
I don't know if it was a sample or something because I sat there and held it in my hands. It was LDowney's jacket that a guy I know had purchased off him. It was huge.
i saw him at hood rocking next years red vest, and it didn't look obscenely massive compared to what everyone else was wearing, but he is a big dude
also my friends jad last years fd and its not as massive as the op is saying
ok thats bullshit ive just been on fd's website and the xl tall is 42 inches long so its clearly a load of crap as it wont be too tall. gonna be baggy as hell though
Lol, guys, I said bullshit as well. I was standing there. We looked at the label and it clearly said "Large". It was really long... Downey gave it to a member on NS, it was the orange/yellow one. Could have been a sample.
Why the hell would we lie about something stupid like this? Fucking NS these days.
if it was liam's then it was probably an xlt just labeled as large. my friend bought some jiberish from pros there and it will say xxl or xxxl but in fact be xxxxl. so im guessing its probably just mislabled like that
Seriously, people should use common sense. Samples are rarely the same as the final distributed product. Do people really think First Drop is making jackets designed to cover the boots of a person who's 6' 5"?
Don't make stupid threads, or at least validate them first. This kind of stuff is a mess for small companies because they end up getting 100+ emails from stupid kids who want to know if they were tricked into ordering a dress or a muscle shirt for a jacket.
Haha I almost never make irrelevant or unwarranted posts or threads, however in a moment of weakness I somehow managed to let this thread pass my mental filter.
