Trade karma for NS store stuff

so i was thinking about karma and the NS store, and i thought i would be pretty cool if karma was used as points towards the NS store. the landyard cost $5 the if you wanted to buy it with karma it would cost you 5k karma points, or a tee which is $13 or $14 it would cost 13k - 14k karma points. so what i mean is every 1k karma is worth $1 in the NS store.
what do you guys think?

no. never.

i don't think ns wants to be giving away products for free because people are getting 10/10 karma for threads saying "fuck the police, smoke weed everyday" and everyone agreeing. Karma is, for the most part, a popularity contest. All it's used for is the rate people you agree with up, and rate people who piss you off down.

no value should ever be placed on ns karma. especially not a monetary value.

it would encourage all things that make you gain karma, which includes post whoring. so that might get out of control. and plus, there are members on here who hypothetically have 500, 600, 700 etc store dollars. not sure how ns is going to profit from that.

might work though.

You only get mad karma if you do what everyone wants you to do, which is stupid. Having it earn you shit is fucking RIDICULOUS, people would just make new accounts to boost their own K. Maybe just have it give you a fancy icon for say 1k, 10k, 50, 100k etc karma. But IMO it's not that hard just to read a number

that is fucking retarded. anytime a new video drops, some member just uploads it to NS to get high ratings which in turn brings mad karma. it's too flawed.

karma is a completely random and fucked up system that really does not determine whether a member is legit or not

someone who's been on since 2001 and has like 4 posts will still have a shit ton of karma, and the system automatically changes and resets people's karma

Karma is super fucked up, one person rating you 10/10 doesn't help your Karma that much, while a highly rated video or a few good pictures skyrockets it. Just look at the Top Rated Members, they would buy the whole store out

+ there are fairly new accounts with like 100 k + karma who arent on NS like ever....
and there are members that contribute a lot to the site with only 10k or something....

karma really isn't something to judge a member by ....
