there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat
Saw this hot chick today driving a flush Candy White Mk6 GTI with teal wheels, and colour matched teal stripes on the grill. I thought to myself PLEASE HAVE MY CHILDREN!
I wish I would have gotten some pictures of this S4 that drove around the MSU campus all the time. Storm trooper'd out black wheels flush as fuck slammed and boosted just purring around town.
Also I get to start dabbling in the stance game myself! Copping a 99 Legacy L wagon 5 speed with low miles and the 2.5 motor. Stoked.

Just out of curiosity, why the 2.5? The 2.2 is considered the best motor made by Subaru, and it can take boost.
I love my OB, but the 2.5 kinda sucks when you start trying to mod it.

Yeah my friend just called me today and said fuck buying a 2.5l Subie because he just got his with 120k miles and blew a head gasket on his way to Montana from WA.

If you can find a 2.5 that's had the head gaskets replaced with the upgraded ones it's not bad. Depends if you want to try and turbo it. anything over 7Psi will blow your head form what I've heard.

I beat the crap out of my high milage 2.2, smashed redline all winter, it ate tons of water and who knows what else one day when when My intake fell apart while killing logging roads in northern ontario, thing ran amazing when I sold it.
Gil, the owner of that pictured legacy is on his second motor, but the first one lasted 290xxxkms or so.

Upped.Ante.MediaI beat the crap out of my high milage 2.2, smashed redline all winter, it ate tons of water and who knows what else one day when when My intake fell apart while killing logging roads in northern ontario, thing ran amazing when I sold it.

Yeah I have heard the EJ22's are incredibly reliable and don't blow head gaskets like the 2.5
I really want to get this Impreza coupe and run it till the original 1.8 blows up and then put in a EJ22T and a 5 speed. Seems like a wicked fun little AWD to rip around.
I have had it all. 2.2, 2.5, hybrid, 2.0. And driven all of them. And I work at a subaru performance shop. Either way I daily a phase 2 2.2 l. It is good, no indestructible. The phase 1 2.2's are non interference and more bullet proof. And no you can't really boost them that much. The ej22t you can boost because of the built in oil squirters and the fact that they are closed deck. My next build I am doing an ej22t with the ej255 heads. Forged, etc. gonna rev out to 9k. And push 450whp on a gt30r. Stay tuned ;)

Sounds pretty fuckin sweet. I copped the 95 impreza coupe today but it's a 1.8l automatic. I plan on driving it till the transmission or motor shits out and then have a similar plan to swap an ej22t and build from there. I literally know next to nothing about cars so I don't plan on starting the swap for a year or two but plan to finish by the time I finish undergrad and have a wicked little rally machine. Been doing a lot of research on NASIOC etc and am thinking ideally pretty much the same motor you are talking about, EJ22t block with 25 heads and forged internals etc to handle the boost, in an awd impreza coupe. Seems like it would be a super fun car to drive.

Curious as to why? I know bags are more expensive and more work to install but it is such a pain in the ass adjusting coilovers. Especially when they seize up after the winter.

Ironically I was out earlier this afternoon and saw the car.
Couldn't tell you man, something about the look, Ive always like flush/ maybe a bit of poke over any tuck. Just personal preference.
