Stanced car thread

there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

eh I'm not a big fan of that car but I know it works for some people. Those wheels on the other hand, I don't think they work for anyone.

If youre not gonna drift it, dont buy it. AE86 corollas are beast, but they deserve to be going sideways. Parts can be a bitch to source sometimes on em too, and not too many people know what they are or appreciate them and think that there just some piece of shit that you riced out. I personally like that aspect of them though, almost like a sleeper.

how the power is put to the road has nothing to do with that accident..did he lift? maybe, maybe not

it is clearly a poorly modified suspension on wheels way to big for the car it coudn't even handle an incredibly tiny bump in the road. He most likely cheaped out (bounces like it doesnt even have rear shocks..) and thought buy stancing his car he could pretend to be paul walker in fast n furious

Thank you for proving my point..he didnt lower his car properly hence his 'stance' caused the accident...I have no idea what your thought process can be to come up with the conclusion that a stanced car getting into an accident because his suspension was built like a matchbox car can be irrelevant to a thread title "stanced car thread"

Over correction aside - his car was built to be trailered to shows not driven on the highway at even reasonable speeds.

Hey, here's an idea, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about so why don't you just shut the fuck up and ignore this thread?

I watched that video a couple times, with the sound up. You can obviously hear him get on the throttle as he went by the white car on the right. He lost control because he can't drive a RWD car under power by the looks of it to me. I don't think "stance" has anything to do with this. Also his suspension looks fine to me. If he didn't have shocks, it would be bouncing all over the place. He wasn't bouncing all over the place.

I've driven literally 1000's of miles in my car and have never had an almost accident because of "stance". Your argument is invalid and please for the sake of yourself don't talk about something you have no idea about.

If you guys don't think the shit mods he made to his suspension had anything to do with him getting in an accident you are fucking hopeless. He's obviosly a boob that doesn't know how to drive OR build a fucking car because his piece of shit couldn't even handle going over a break in the road where the bridge connects to rest of the pavement. I couldn't even imagine if he hit a real bump on the highway the fucking thing would probably just fall apart into a million pieces

I've posted my rig (now on 35's and new coils) on here about a million times..it was built with tons of research and money into quality products so i'm comfortable in its ability to perform off road as well as going down a highway at 70 mph

I started posting in this thread on page two about awesome and properly stanced cars. My only hate in this thread is when a car is built for looks not function just like the shit bag lexus that was so poorly modified it caused an accident

After reviewing the video more, it's modifications probably had nothing to do with that accident. Like everyone else said, it looks like he lost control because it's a rear wheel drive car with power that someone doesn't know how to drive.

But that being said, neither of us know anything about the car or the driver, so both arguments are completely invalid.

Guy wanted to do a budget build, found the car (old turbo Legacy SS) for >$1500, and built it with the goal of getting it featured in magazines, websites, shows, etc...the difficult part being that there's almost nothing available for this car and everything needed to be modified in some way or another.

If I'm correct, I think the whole thing cost under 10 grand, and it looks awesome.

This. Adding rear camber is a trick to make it easier to initiate a drift with an underpowered car. It definitely contributed to that accident.
