there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

Thanks man, reason the shots are wobbly is I had my gopro duct taped/ ziptied to a stick out the window at highway speeds :P If I had a car worth filming I would buy a suction cup kit in a heartbeat

i am a huge sucker for every automotive rat-style vehicle but this audi is fuckin wack. it looks retarded. IMO modern cars cant pull off a rat look, it has to be old to begin with. i did see a "ratted" 2012 camaro and it was kinda cool but they really just dented it and rusted it all with salt. the engine was the party piece on that car anyways

not to split hairs, but that is a base line aka stock a4 avant. you can tell because there are no doorblades, stock front lower bumper (all ultrasports came with painted lowers, this car has unpainted lowers) and stock rear bumper. there are three versions of the door blades. stock flat ones, ultrasport (or s-line for b7's) which are slightly more aggressive, and the s4 which are the most aggressive and stick out the most. b8's do not have the same style door blades as the body is a completely different design. the ultrasports came in the b6 body style and ultrasport avants are incredibly hard to find. the term ultrasport basically became s-line for the b7 and newer and carried the same door blades and slightly more aggressive front lip idea through that series.

Sorry man, you are wrong. That video title is incorrect as well. That is a base model a4 avant.... trust me I own one and was looking for an ultrasport avant for MONTHS when I was searching to buy my car. I spend hours on audizine all day.

Here is an ultrasport, notice the rear bumper in more shallow, has the black cutout area above the exhaust and has the creases down the sides toward the tires. Also note the door blades and painted lowers.

Another ultrasport avant, once again note the painted lowers, s-line or USP door blades, and the lower and sharper front lip.

Here is a base model avant in the same color as the video showing the unpainted lowers, flat door blades, rounded front lip that doesn't hang as low, etc.

I like the rat rod because he turned something that was totaled and burned in a fire and turned it into semi-functional art. Obviously he didn't take a working newish car and destroy the shit out of it. You can tell the front bumper caught fire and the drivers a-pillar was crushed. He obviously tore up some of the other panels to make them look ratty too, but he took a piece of shit that was going to sit in the junkyard forever and turned it into something cool. The swingset passenger seat, deck chair drivers seat, beer in the cupholder, wood flooring, and steelie steering wheel are awesome. And he used a coilover for the replacement a-pillar.

ooooone more time, i never said the car was an ultrasport. i said the video title was wrong. i know its not an ultrasport in the video. i too was looking at buying an ultrasport, and as an alternative, looking into buying the front and rear bumpers, lips, skirts, and blades, cause that rugged textured plastic looks like shit

referring to that rat audi up there:

i guess its cool he salvaged a wrecked car and made it into "functional art" but i think he took it the wrong direction. he coulda done something cool with it still without making it looks like a fucking bomb went off inside. i think leaving the doors on, for one, and somehow maybe chopping the top (although thats more complex on a modern car) would make it look better

....wut. how is rusty modern? and as far as ratted goes, it is not. a lotta time and effort went into finding the right solution to oxidize the exterior like that. and the wheels have 24k gold centers. far from ratted.

Nah, it was an e28.

The car was mint and he lent it to a friend who got in an accident with it. From there it went to 'Rusty'.

First started off static and then was bagged after doing the 1jz swap. After that is when it got chopped into what it looked like in that picture. The car was totaled, which is why he went all out and built it that way.

I think he typo'd as that is an E28.

And the car isn't done. After the fire other things started to happen to it. I saw it last year on the way down to SoWo and let me just say its going to be nuts when its all said and done.

for clarification, he means they shortened the roof. if you look at the two bottom pictures, of rusty and the "stock" e28, the roof height, and in turn, shape of the roof is different between the two because theres about 6 inches or so missing on rusty
