Stanced car thread

there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

They are Hartmann's, but yeah, just RS4 reps. I am trying to find a good set of OEM RS4's that aren't curb rashed, but they are pretty hard to come by. The OEM ones look so much better. 19x9 et 29 rather than my current 19x8.5 et 33

just get a spacer dude. you might find the lack of .5 to work better after your drop. those look great, why spend the dollars??

The OEM ones have much more concavity and just look way better in my opinion.  If you saw them in person it is night and day how they look.  The spokes are a little thicker and the "lip" if you want to call it that is much deeper than the reps.  Overall, they just look way better.  I am running a 5mm spacer right now to push them to et33 which gets them somewhat close to flush.

The dolphin grey one with the oem rs4's is 05Sline on audizine.  He runs a set of KW V2's.  My set is the Vogtland Gt's.  I am running around 24 5/8 fender to ground and I believe he is at 24.5, so after some fender rolling in the front and a possible slight pull those would fit my car.

ya I am looking at some suspension for the summer. I have some 19in Konigs not sure on the offset but they are obviously the stock offset being that they fit perfectly and I have no spacers. I wouldnt mind getting some 5mm all around and dumping it for a nice flush look. How much are the vogtlands like 1200 or something right or are they super expensive? I cant remember.

The Vogtland Gt's I got were 1000 from Achtuning which is like 10 miles from me. They have a stiffer rear spring which is good for the avant's, or if you want a bit better turn in. The regular Vogtlands are about 900 I think. I am super happy with them. The GT kit rides extremely well and almost seems to feel better with 4 people in the car than just with myself. It goes suuuuper low too. I have the rears maxed out right now, so I could still easily go about an inch lower. The other thing about the Vogtlands that is super nice is the rear perch is mounted on the top so you can actually access it to adjust it. The kid I bought my car from had a set of FK coils on it before and to access the rear adjustment you pretty much had to drop the sub frame since there was pretty much no good angle to get at them with the coil wrench. I think Vogtland and one other company puts the on the top, but the rest are on the bottom, I just can't remember which other brand it is right now.

long shot but anyone remember the burgundy e9 posted a while ago? i reverse imaged it and found an awesome article on the car and its owner. it was very clean and i wanna say it was on style 32's. i know long shot but i really wanna see it again

That may be true, but I am simply commenting on the looks aspect.  The wing is waaaaaaay too tall.  Obviously it works better being so high due to the box on the roof, but it just looks ridiculous.  And I have never been a fan of the whole black on black on black on black on black thing.  Contrast is a good thing.  That and I guess even though I am a huge Audi guy the R8 just looks too soft to me and I have never been a huge fan.  I just like the styling and the vinyl wrap job of the Lambo way better.

I like the audi better.  Something about a mega widebody'd AWD razor-tuned supercar with an aero-tuned rocket box gives me a huge gear boner.  Not only that, but knowing how smart Jon is the company on the back of the rocket box probably footed like half the bill for the build- He certainly didn't put it there because he digs the company.     

I could give two shits how rediculous the wing looks, that car is amazing and built for a fkn rad purpose.
