Stanced car thread

there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

The evo doesn't look stanced but I think the STI looks pretty low and stanced to me. I don't know though, I'm not a stanced car critic. They both are wicked sick cars regardless though.

i feel that fwd cars that have more than 300 hp are mostly fun on the strip and not on the circuit. I've driven my friends fully built 98 civ, which out outputs a little over 312, and even though he built it for circuit it understeers. But that is just me. Everyone has their own opinion. People have to put into consideration that fwd drives way different than that of a rwd car. Some people can handle it some people cant. But people razzin about fwd cars not being as quick as that of a awd car are really wrong. Awd may have you at the launch, but 2 wheels have most of the power to the ground

my friends integra in high school was making 650hp with a gt42 lol... it was a type r with a built lsvtec. shit was so boss. you could be in 5th gear and step on the gas and light the front tires up. it was kinda cool.

so why dont they use front wheel drive cars in rally series if they handle better or "have most of the power to the ground" whatever the fuck that means?

Honestly if you dont know what you are talking about dont waste 20 minutes of your life writing stupid posts like this.

you obviously dont understand AWD systems. Sure you have to divide the power by 4 and say thats how much each individual wheel is making rather than 2 although its not going to be exact as most AWD cars are bias to the front wheels as in 60/40 power to the front. Either way it doesnt mater, AWD systems will identify a traction loss on one of 4 wheels take power from that wheel and apply that power to the other 3.

now Dukes if you want to get a FWD car and put some coils on it and come to a twisty track and see if you do better than me in my AWD evo with coilovers I am totally down..

i'd imagine he is talking about AWD vehicles having more drivetrain loss than a FWD or RWD vehicle, just poorly worded. although i definitely agree AWD is better than FWD, you definitely can't hate on it. i've seen multiple FWD cars run shit in autocross and post way better times than evo's, sti's, 370z's, miatas, or whatever. a good driver in a FWD car will beat an average driver in an AWD/RWD car hands down. if you know how to drive a FWD vehicle, it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. don't get me wrong AWD/RWD reigns supreme to wrong wheel drive but i gotta represent my fail still lol.

Dylan used to have knock off ohlins.

i've helped Dylan with his build, i know what his car can do. I was with him when it was tuned. This car is nutty.

he doesn't care what any of you think on a website either, his car has 445ish to the wheels. He has pictures of his build and i don't think he wants to type out his mod list to please a bunch of kids that don't even know how to change their oil in their cars. Now shut the fuck up and continue with the thread.
