Stanced car thread

there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

exactly, i hate when vdub guys do it too... theres no point for a staggered setup on a fail wheel drive nor an awd car.

it should also be said that his center diff has been swapped out for an Advanced Automotion swap which is 81 rear 19 front bias rather than the stock 50/50 of quattro- so staggered wheels are fine as long as the rolling diameter of the tire is within +/- 3% of each other front and rear

read my post- its the same thing lambos do with awd - staggered wheels work fine as long as you have a bias towards rwd

actually a lot Japanese guys in Japan run staggered setups with the wider wheels in the front for better handling. jus sayyiinnn

exactly, i own a fwd car, why would i put a narrower wheel up front with a wide ass wheel in the back ? i understand why you'd put one on a RWD car consider the fact many of my friends have them. Having a staggered setup on a FWD car is just retarded.

nevermind, im just fucking with you. im usually one to defend FWD cars when it comes to handling, because people seem to assume that being FWD means the car will push like crazy no matter what. for the most part yes understeer is a big problem FWD cars have, but depending on the car and how you drive it, FWD can be awesome, just takes a different technique and approach to everything.
BUT still there is no question that FWD is the worst configuration in terms of handling. AWD and especially RWD are just plain better in pretty much every aspect.

holy fucking claim- better be some dyno sheets and video to prove its your car on the dyno


also anything over 350 in a 1.8 is straight garbage- enjoy waiting for your turbo to spool up and having a power band from 5k to 7.5


but im just saying bullshit claim- your the same guy who said he has ohlins dampers on a gli- first of they dont even make them so itd be a one off set- even if a cheap manufacturer did them for you your still talking 3 grand plus for a pos fwd car in suspension

That and power is nothing unless you can put it to the ground.  I am sure you would just light up the front if you tried to get on it before you even get half of that power.  No offense man, but I just don't see why you would put that much time and money into that car.  They are cool and all, but not really meant to perform.
