Stanced car thread

there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

for some reason those wheels just do it perfectly for me. Although I wouldn't mind rotiforms...some step lip BLQ's would be nice

I wish

picked up 350z track edition- its a good starting platform with 6 speed, lsd, and brembos-

first order of business is exhaust, new hawkes pads and stainless lines, turn the factory wheels into my trackday setup and then get kw v3's for low's and at the track for go's- I love kw when it comes to out of the box awesome- wheels and other small mods

then just run it like that until I am out of school and have $ and time to do another build- then its going to become single turbo monster with goals of 530 whp on 93- 700+ on c16


but by then ill probably have something different- all depends on who wants to hire me lol

they sound amazing with stock exhaust. Ive never driven one but from what ive heard they are a tad heavy and have a bit of body sway but never really driven one to compare. kw is a good company, we put a fair amount of sets on porsches and they are nice to adjust if you adjust them once a year to keep rust out of the threads. Ive heard lots of good things of the engine in 350's though so it sounds like a solid platform. Arent the stock wheels on those rays? Sounds like a good DD car.

yes they are- I think they weigh in at 17 a piece- its getting all new bearings and bushing when its up on the lift for exhaust- combined with some better struts and sways I can keep it to a minimum-

not bad then. my stock wheels are bout 17 a pop too. enkei's. Those te37s are 17 aswell. If youre sitting 17-19 that is pretty amazing for stock 18s. Some day ill get a chance to drive a 350 im sure. I drove a gtr35 about a year back and was pretty impressed with performance so nissan still has gotten their shit together it seems in the last couple years. funny story about the gtr was it couldnt fit on to the alignment rack at the nissan that sold it, so it came to us because we have a ghetto old school rack that we stack 2x4's under the ramps to get even the lowest exotics on. There is a NSX on KW's that has the same issue so we do an alignment on it every year. GT2's from factory are too low and wide to fit on most hoists and racks, they dont even come shipped with their lips on and are plastered with these wicked cautions sticks on all bumpers and doors saying something in german/english " caution wide body car" and has a little doodle of a ass shot of a wide body 911. Should take some progress pictures of your car as its getting work done.

btw, that steel blue cabby with the wire wheels is the car that i rode down with. vr6 big (forget the exact turbo) turbo, fucking sick. the guy bought it for 600 bucks and redid it all. he now is doing another project of a mk1 jetta coupe and is planning to do a rwd conversion with it as well.

but yeah, that s4 was incredibly low for being on static. i love that car so much. looking in to a b5 s4, b6 or b7 a4, mk5 gti, or mk4 gli. hate on me, family needs a 3rd car (more like my brother and i since we have 4 drivers, and only 2 cars in a 5 person family), it will be bought used, and i will pay insurance, gas, maintaince, parts, all that stuff. hoping to buy something that is stage 2 or bagged already as i would rather get that 2 or 3 grand out of the way and i could do the other one with the money i have saved. i dont think i can ride at the height i want to be with coilovers where i live, just way too rough of roads. any advice on the cars? and by advice i dont mean chew me out for my parents being nice enough to buy my brother and i a car...

Yeah, that Volvo was one of the cooler cars at the cruise.  I loved the wheels and his extra long bolts.  Anyone know where to find bolts like that?

wrong, gallardo replicas.  but, for some reason i think they look insane on avants, so i think i might be getting a set.  if i do they will be painted white with black centers and i will get oem lambo center caps too, with red bolts.

well I have run into an issue- I want to run 19's because when I turbo this bitch even with oval piping im still going to have a 3.5 inch exhaust from the turbo back- 18s I would be to worried about scraping


so now I look at 19's- I am quickly learning that 19x11's are expensive as hell

for instance- a volk te-37 in 18x9 is 580 a wheel

a volk in 19x10.5 is 1075 a wheel


id rather save my money for tubro

good luck putting it to the ground without good rubber though.   

You could pump a cool mil into a car and the tires are still the only part actually touching the ground. 

Wikki, I'm sure you have a tire hookup, but I might be able to find you a set of 19x11s for a pretty solid discount.  What brand/make/model are you looking for exactly?
