I just watched The Cove again tonight and it still is as intense as the first time I watched it. I then donated some money to Earth Island Institute to help out.
Your dad and Ric O'Barry and everyone else who helped are amazing people. I would like to try to organize a screening of The Cove at my university and possibly try to raise donations for them. But I really have to look into how to organize that and get the proper authentication to do so.

you should try to see if he can get a shot of you with an NS shirt on haha. probably wouldnt wouldnt want to have logo's in it though.

Dolphins would be worthless if not for places like Sea World.

Would you guys still advocate the capture of dolphins for training but outlaw their slaughter?

Its kind of a catch-22 in my mind. Flipper and places like Sea World expose us firsthand to how awesome dolphins are but also are the reason for their mass killing.

I don't advocate the capture of dolphins and whales for any reason. If you watch the cove, O'Barry was the trainer and capturer of Flipper and when one of the Flipper dolphins committed suicide in front of him (dolphins breathe on their own, not automatically like humans) and he changed to being one of the most important activists in the world.
I refuse to go anywhere with captured whales and dolphins and they are mass killed for their meat, not to be put in a pen. Also, you should know how awesome and majestic those creatures are without having to put them in a jail and torture them to see that.

I'm not one for environmental bullshit but thats not this movie, its a damn good documentary. The footage they got from inside the cove was one of the most brutal things I have ever watched, the entire cove just dark blood red. Made me sick and slightly racist.
