Punx or Domain?

Hey guys I'm looking for a good ski for next season.  I'm shorter about 5'5, 5'6 (still growing quickly) and maybe 105-110 lbs.  I want something for park and fairly flexible to be able to butter/mess around on groomers..ect.  Looking at Atomic punx or k2 Domains.
I have heard good things about punx but I was interested in Domains because of the wider underfoot and slight rocker. I ride about 50%jumps/ 50%rails
and in overall about 65% park 20% pow and 15% sidehits.
Help is appreciated

I'd say a 169 Domain would be perfect. You'll have a bit of room to grow, while slaying the park and still having rocker to help you out on powder days. The Punx is a great park ski, but it's not as versatile as the Domain.

Yea that was exactly my thoughts. Although I am really loving the punx. potentially get both?

Well, if you are going to get two skis, you'd be better off getting two skis that are more different. For example, Punx + maybe a JJ would be more versatile than Domain+Punx. If you don't want to spend a lot though, just getting the Domain would be a good choice.

If you got both, you'd only end up riding the Domain, it rips everywhere. I demoed them last spring, and they ripped apart the crud, killed it on rails (so smooth), and was really fun off jumps (90 underfoot was so stable, and the rocker prevent catching even though there were spring ruts). If you want two skis, get the Domain and something with a 100-110 waist (maybe even 115 depending on what conditions you have at your mountain). The punx are a great ski, but like I said, the Domain is awesome everywhere.

I got punx and I won't recommend them. I got tip and tail rocker on both skis and got a ripped edge by smashing my skis together. Less than 20 days of skiing.

The best skis I ever had but crappy durability. Even worse than salomon suspect 08/09. I haven't managed to get a single edgecrack yet on those.

Thanks everyone, especially the last two posts. I have heard such mixed messages about durability with punx from "greatest skis ever and super durable only thing is the topsheet" to stuff like you just mentioned^^

And to flashkick, how flexible would the domains be for someone my weight. I want a nice fun jib/sidehit ski (not worried about jumps I know those skis could handle it)

i didn't read every post but if you want something 110ish under foot by the atomic blog. it's pretty much the bentchetler's little brother. 110 under foot instead of 126 and a little bit less rocker and it's still cambered so it skis groomers perfectly. super fun ski if you're looking for something in that area.

Completely agree with this guy. Punx are the best ski I've ever skied on, but there durability is crap.

have you looked at the revival at all? they're not true twin so they'll work a little but better all mountain than the domain does, particularly allowing the tail to sink a bit more in pow. skiing pow on a true twin is kind of weird, if you've never done it... the rocker and width on either the domain or revival would make either ski work just fine for someone as short/light as you are though.
