What would you like in a hookah bar

basically im looking to open one in breck once i get all the legal issues out of the way.

and i would like some serious suggestions in what would attrack basically people like you because of the people here our customer base would be well exactly like all of you

Goog hookahs that are well maintained. All the bars around me the seals are shot and any flavor you get tasted like pennies. Also lasers are sick in the smoke but not too many.

ski movies on mute. better music than a thievery corporation cd on repeat. cushions and low tables. awesome/rare shisha flavors. those cool three-flame lighters. lamps with perforated lampshades so there are cool light designs on the walls. a mural of the mountains. a back patio. a really good smoke evacuation system. a hole in the table so the hookah is stable. table snacks, but not real food: i don't want falafel while i smoke. versatile seating arrangements so i can set up a good circle if i bring in seven people or just two. i could keep going.

i've been to turkey and smoked some hookah. we even bought our own hookahs, like three.

they are a lot of fun. one place in turkey was just like a coffee shop. we smoked up stairs, played some checkers and chess on the table and hung out.
the other was a little more mood lighted and outside patio.

just try to be authentic. get good tobacco, good food and drinks. dont cheap out

different liquids to fill hookahs with
a few separate rooms for parties, they can bring in their own music and hook it up
posters of smoke rings/ other smoking related things
decks of cards
Ben & Jerry's
bathrooms are nice

above said cards which would be nice, and set the lighting where you can actually see a little. the ones near me have the shittiest lighting,to the point where its annoying, but mayb they want it that way?

i can't tell you how many times i've paid $25+ at a hookah bar..sheesh(a) lulz.
the best hookah bar i've been to was firefly in kent and it was $13 including drinks for 4 people!! also make sure you come around with hot coals pretty often, it's so damn frustrating when i own my own hookah and the person running the business acts like they know more than i do.

Keep it authentic.

Hot Belly Dancers are a must.

Try to avoid using self-lighting coals if possible.

Take GOOD CARE of your Hookahs.

Lots of different seating styles. Have a floor area, booths and tables.

Get Maya Hookahs so that you can offer multiple hoses for those that want them.

Get good bowls! The bowl makes all the difference as I'm sure you're aware. Vortex or Phunnel bowls.

Make sure that whoever is packing knows what they are doing! I cannot count the number of experiences that have been ruined by people who couldn't pack for shit.

Offer Hookahs filtered through various wines and such.

Good tobacco in lots of flavors is of paramount importance.

The music should not be too loud.

You might consider advertising different kinds of nights, like have say
A: "Club" night. Belly dancers in full force, music cranked.
B: Chill night: music is down, just bring your friends in and smoke and talk.

Make friends with your regulars!

Keep in mind that unless you've done this kind of thing before, starting your own business will be the single hardest thing you've probably ever done. Be smart about it, and if you foundation is solid, don't give up.
