Replying to skiing armour

Whats your opinion on armour, i am considering for next year but i dont know if it will be good for me, or just a waste of money. I pretty much only ski tree lines and drops, which usaully dont exceed 30 feet. ihave been injured a couple times out there but not majorly...what do you ppl think.
