Sufficient layers?

i know its early to be asking but im making a change from wearing a jacket to wearing a big and tall hoodie. i ski in the east coast namely ny and pennsylvania and i was wondering what people layer under their hoodies besides tall tees in order to keep warm. thanks alot in advanced.

i ski the same area as you and i rock a tee under whatever im whereing, usually a hoodie and a jacket.

if your'e wearing just a hoodie then you should wear a tall tee a longsleeve tee and your hoodie. on colder days i suggest a thermal of some type

100% cotton tees come in the best colors. Just wear 3 to 6 depending how cold it is.

I ski sunday river but I usually wear an under armour layer and my 3 or 4 tall tees. rarely a jacket, rarely a sweatshirt.

It may be expensive but its the best thing out their.

Smartwool and Icebreaker are the best.

thanks alot guys. i was thinking from reading all this and underarmour turtle neck the either a long sleeve shirt or a crew neck sweater like mentioned above. + karma to everyone.

winter under armors do th trick, i ski massachusetts/ nh and when im just wearing a hoody i wear a winter under armor and 3 to 5 tall tees under it

I just wear a tall tee and depending on weather a unzipped coat/ zipped. But if you don't want to rock a coat, then throw on an under armor and a tall tee and a hoodie

if you are wearing a hoody you shouldnt be concerned about layers


after all im sure as long as you look "g" enough you wont get cold.

Looking "G" is the most efficient way to keep your body warm, especially because if your friends see you "cold" they will disown you from the "gang".

Lol thats possibly the stupidest fucking layering advice i've ever heard. Get some legit baselayers, icebreakers, smartwool, patagonia, underarmor, etc.

go to your local outdoor shop and get a super tech base layer and another full tech waterproof gore-tex and all that shit ohter layer then put your hoodie and ur ready to go
