Canon EOS Rebel XSi

I am thinking about buying this camera, it has great reviews on the Canon website. but i was just wondering if anyone on here has used one and could tell me about it, is it a good buy, or should i look for a different camera?

Been using this camera for the last year and a half. It is a great starter DSLR and really good to learn how to shoot with. Definitely recommend it. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me.

I use it as well, and like frodo said, it's definitely a good camera. If you ever thought you might want to film though, it would be worth it to pay the extra hundred or two for a T1i, or even a T2i.

the T2i's such a good deal with the video capability too. I threw my 2 gig SD card from my go pro in though, and it doesn't have much memory. should I go 4 or 8 gig if I want to film an hour or two in HD?
