I spoke to MacMahoooon/nopoles about the thumbnail problem and there is simply nothing they can do since there are over 100,000 photos that need to adjust. Best thing I can do is tell each of you to clear your cache before looking at and voting on photos.
Also my apologies to the one member who hasn't had a chance to respond to my PM about his photo, but I do have to keep this contest rolling.
Photo Contest Week 20 Voting Thread – Round One
Rules
Pick 2 PHOTOS ONLY; if you pick 3, we will make you pick 2, it's a pretty simple rule to understand. It is however, acceptable to vote for 1 and only 1 photo. After this we will determine a top 5 and then vote again.
Post the number of the photo you are voting for (lower left and for the photos who's thumbnails are large, the number is on top).
DO NOT vote for your own.
Remember to click on the photo to get full colors.
VOTING WILL END @ 11:59 EST ON MONDAY AUGUST 30TH
Topic:
Timing
“I did some thinking and came up with "timing." This can mean anything as long as you explain your reasoning behind it. If you are having trouble, here is what I envision (but dont limit yourself to this!). I think that the mark of a good photographer is to nail the technical details of a photo while also capturing that perfect moment that will make the photo pop and stand out in a way that makes it unique. This could be a lightning strike, a touchdown catch in a football game, capturing somebody's facial expression at just the right moment, etc...
Here is an example of what I would consider "timing."
