A person, usually a hipster, who claims to live a Rastafarian lifestyle, but in reality doesn't at all, whatsoever. Tons of stoners claim to be Rastafarian, but the only thing they do is smoke weed and wear Rasta bracelets.

dean: i'm rastafarian
me: what do rastafarians believe in?
dean: ummmmmm. look at my bracelets!
me: you're a rasta imposta

i'm no rasta, and i have no indepth knowledge of the religion, what is stands for, etc.. but it just kinda bugs me when people wear all this rasta shit and have no clue about the religioug significance. but whatever, i guess, youre style isnt my business...

end rant.

I'm not even rasta and I think I know more than some people. The basics are that Jah Rastafari, the god, will deliver the people to their homeland of Ethiopia, after they were taken as slaves. They smoke ganja to find a sense of their inner selves. The loin symbolizes the lion of Babylon from the depiction on the gates on the city if Babylon, which was destroyed in 500 bc (I'm probably wrong on the date, going off an old history class), because Babylon is thought to be in Ethiopia, their homeland

I still like the time I was skidding around the streets of Vancouver and I had a couple of slices of $0.93 pepperoni pizzas in my back pack and i walked into this Jamaican pizzeria on Broadway and asked him to heat them up in his oven and He was all like "Yo whart the Fuk you be doing man?"
