I won't be able to go regularly except for a trip to jackson in january untill march, So I'm gonna be a primarily spring skier this year. Anybody else have a ski season that's kinda bloked off in parts because of something else?
Yeah, my ACL is tore and I can't get it fixed until Oct 12 because I'm still recovering from a thumb ligament surgery. So I won't be able to ski until April. I feel your pain. I've never been out this long, and it's definitely going to be really weird. My plan is to simply drink a lot, spend a lot of time partying super hard here in Boston, but also take some trips up to VT just to spend some time shooting video, making edits, and staying current with the scene/friends. I had miniscus surgery last winter, and thumb surgery this summer, so at this point, I'm sorta numb to the disappointment, but it's definitely gonna suck not being out there shredding every weekend with my homies.
However, I think that come next June, I'm gonna quit my job, move out to Hood and never look back :)
2nd semester I'm transferring to a different school so that I can ski pretty much every day if I wanted. Still not great skiing, but its only an hour and a half away from home and a funner school than I'm at now.
Dang man that's a bummer. I just re injured my ankle at soccer today after sitting for 4 weeks and think I'm going to sit out most of the soccer season so that I'll be healed for skiing. Injury is just so frustrating and disappointing.
