why do people watch bum out depressing films and tv about horrid things such a parents getting their children unjustly taken away from them? abusive parents? child prostitution? rape?......
i understand why they are made, to publicised these injustices and raise awareness but honestly i don't wana see it!
i don't wana hear about some mother who killed her children then jumped out the window in some random town. i would much rather live in blissful ignorance because there's nothing i can do to prevent or rectify these events. the only consequence is me feeling bummed out.
