Well, the thread was deleted, but girlsonskis is basically a middleman. She gets the girls sponsors because they are girls on skis, and ships them around as a loose team to competitions.

Basically, she thinks that girls deserve sponsors before they get good simply because of their gender, and that girls need sponsors to get good, rather than training on their own. She also believes in an encouraging and "you go girl!" attitude for competitions, and is subsequently what is ruining the sport.

This. Women constantly delude themselves that they are not like men, so they cannot do what men do on skis. Just because you're smaller and have a different hip degree, does not mean you have a license to suck. Look at Kaya Turski. Girl rips it, and so can you if you just try. But they won't try, because girls are holding girls back by being disproportionately encouraging of mediocrity in relation to competitive attitude.
