Summer set up drop in material?

i am hoping to build a summer setup however my garden is quite small (25 foot long)
meaning i could not have a very big drop in ( 5 - 6 ft)

what would you recommend using to get enough speed for a 8 - 10 foot rail?

my garden is also on a slight slope which would help

yeh would permasnow etc be faster than astro with construction fence?

Yeah it's super soft in comparison to just astroturf and rides aight too

Well permasnow is used for dryslope skiing, im not to sure about astroturf but it works.

Astroturf and construction fence ftw. And throw on some soap and water for more speed

Don't use Permasnow, it ruins bases big time. It is however faster than Snowflex.

horizontol pvc on the drop in will give you the most speed, but it mite nick ur skis a little bit so if u have old ones, use pvc but if not, astro turf and garden hose.

the easiest for you would be the old and proven astroturf + orange fencing/lattice fencing method...

snowflex and all that other stuff is a lot harder to get + much more expensive....

and since all you want on your drop-in is to go straight and gain speed, i think turf + fencing is the best for you.... no need to make it fancier than needed....

Yep, that's the one! I ski on it pretty much every week and although I prefer Snowflex for the softness and how easy it is to landscape it, Permasnow is a lot faster and it doesn't require the sprinkler system that Snowflex has.
