ATM HELP!

ok so today i deposited a check into an atm.. i endorsed it, and then i forgot to put it in an envelope before i put it in the machine....


what do i do?


am i screwed?

There is a good chance your bank will give you a call when they take the deposit slips/checks out of the machine tomorrow. I know mine has called me before on deposits at the ATM.

Basically 25 to life. No I have actually done this before I just went to the teller in the morning and told them what happened and they fixed it.

i never put my checks in an envelope to deposit. as long as you didn't do more than one at a time, you're fine.
the only time you're supposed to use an envelope is when you have multiple things you want to deposit at the same time.
you're fine.

They're gonna send hitmen after you for not following the proper banking procedures. Ever since the financial crisis they've been cracking down on shit like this.

Seriously though, they should just give you a call. I can't see anything else happening.

it most likely wouldn't be an issue. As long as there is a deposit slip that matches the check you'll probably be fine. I work at a bank...I wouldn't worry about it, and like everyone else said they will give you a call if there is a problem
