northstar is so expensive, if you get a pass and ski ALOT it might be worth paying for, but if you have friends from other places its so expensive for them to get a day pass.
squaw was like 350 for a season pass this year and you get a lot better terrain out of the park.
Double Whammy College pass is $289. http://www.northstarattahoe.com/info/ski/tickets-passes/season-pass.asp It's not expensive. The only drawback is the blackout dates, but no one in their right mind would want to ride there on a holiday weekend anyways.
Alpine / Homewood college pass: $299.

if you're a little park johnny wearing skittle colors who rides to steeze hard and impress the snow-ho's ... go to northstar. if a 40ft cliff doesnt make you shit your pants go to alpine or squaw. boreal is decent early season and night riding for the price.
