What exactly is a pro?

all i'm saying is that there plenty of people out there that aren't true pro's but they are better than some people who are pro..... schlopy and talkington for instance, they kill it harder than some

You have to have been on Chug Life, then you are considered a pro. Talkington and Slchopy have not been on Chug Life.

ok this thread took a direction that i did not intend i made the stupid title so ppl would be like wtf and click on it, what i was trying to really discuss is why some of these not so big time skiers like talkington don't have the amount of sponsors and exposure that other pros, who don't kill it as hard, have. I don't want to call any specific people out but i think we can all agree that there are alot of non-xgames cham/red bull sponsored skiers who kill it harder than said "red bull sponsored" people

Threads tend to do this in the summer.

talkington probs doesnt have as many sponsers cause hes got a crappy agent or no agent. also he isnt getting alot of exposure to the general public. everyone knows who dumont is but dale doesnt really compeate so no one knows who he is. less sponsers gonna pick him up.

I agree with this. The reason some of the super good "Ams" aren't as well known is because of lesser exposure, and likely, not having an agent.

a pro is somebody who earns an income from skiing, even if you can shread harder then the pros and not get paid for it you arent a pro.
