yo wat is the coolest thing you've seen or heard of in someones dorm room cuz i'm looking for some awesome things to do. .

i've heard of having pets, poker tables/pong tables, dart boards and shit like that whats something fresh ns? you kno whats good

nice christmas lights. a good woman's touch.

my room we made it into our own pub so we could watch our soccer matches in peace. Didn't do anything for parties because quite frankly, i'm not spending extra money so some drunk chick i don't even know can throw up on my shag rug after sipping her arbor mist. The whole pub thing was actually pretty sick. Really just required 2 long tables, some chairs, and various other things.

pong table is kinda fun, but not worth the hassle if you ask me. For one thing, you get written up for them easily, and they are loud as hell. plus i'm not a big fan of pong. it's fun and i'm not half bad at it, but i just can't stand the people who play. I don't give a shit if "me and my buddy man, we played in this 'ruit tournament. like 60 teams. we got 1st. didn't miss a single cup all night. i wasn't even drunk cause we shut everything out."

drink like a man. get some shitty vodka, sit there, and take shots after toasting ridiculous things. Russian style.

Buy a pop/soda dispensing machine that actuallly works and costs money. Never keep any soda in your fridge, and you magically won't always be out of shit you buy.

A projector to watch/play video games on the wall of a dorm room.

Comfy chairs are key also. When the situation arises and your place is packed. You need comfy seating for your peoples.

A vaporizer is tight, but if you have a vaporizer you better have a beer pong table, bong, and beer bong to complete the equation.

An extra keg tap also

i'll just go ahead and say it so you don't get your hopes up...

if you somehow manage to have a kegger as a freshman living inside a dorm...you don't need college. You can clearly survive based upon whatever skills you already have.

or you go to a sweet school that apparently has no rules and doesn't follow laws.

somebody should try to make their dorm into a rain forest. buy as many potted plants as possible and place them around the room, along with some small trees and vines. wouldn't really serve much of a purpose but it'd be cool as fuck. they did it in an episode of viva la bam and it was crazy.

Depends on the living situation. There are 4 person apartment that are party zones essentially and I know many of them who just say fuck a table, we need a beer pong table.

But yeah, a DORM in a COLLEGE DORM, and anything even remotely cool will just not be feasible.

trippy lights, big couch, MW2 + fifa and big screen (out of reach of drunk people), a nice rug, posters, a couple fans. emphasis on big couch if you're lookin to have many people over, they need somewhere to sit and/or ptfo all over each other

our entire wall was covered in cut out's from different boxed we had most of the wall covered in pbr 30's and then we had a classy beer section.

Listing off some stuff from our room this year.

covering your wall with 30s cut up or covering your windowsills with empties does nothing but make you look like a douche. (or in many cases, a laxbro)

really, once you get there, look at what you've got to work with, then do something cool and creative. Cutting up 30s and taping them to the walls accomplishes a few things...

-as mentioned, makes you look like a douche who thinks he's the fucking man because he drinks underage.
-looks awful.
-makes you a target. leave your door open, and an RA/campus security sees all those cut outs? They now know you party in there a lot. Therefore, everytime they hear ANY noise above the usual, they will check on you.

That's about all I can think of right now... I loved living in my room, so much fun.

for ppl complaining about thefts, you should get a gopro and install it to the corner of the room to record every movement in there, u can also install it to a a bigger battery to run longer. ( only keep it on when no1s in the room tho).

ill get a pic up when my other roommates move in. 4 flatscreens(one being 40" and one being 36, then 2 22s i believe), lovesac supersac, a 360, 2 ps3s and a wii, and my custom speaker build from freshman year(Tritrix transmission line with a 15" kicker XPL sub underneath the lovesac http://www.parts-express.com/projectshowcase/indexn.cfm?project=Tritrix ) among a bunch of other cool shit.

Honestly, having a slurpee machine in the dorm was probably the fucking greatest thing we ever had...

we'd just load them with lemonade slurpee and orange juice slurpee. Perfect for getting home at 330am and needing to re-hydrate, or wake up in the morning with a nice cold iced OJ.

Seriously. Everyone always tried to come in our room and steal some too it was hilarious.

ONE DOWNSIDE - sticky mess to clean up, but so worth it in the long run

My roommate brought it with him when we moved in, so it was mostly free for me. We just had to pay a little extra charge (basically, 10$ a month for the power of a '2nd refrigerator' and we were able to just go down the hall to the ice machine which gave us crushed ice, so it was perfect.

We just kept good stock of those lemonade and orange juice cans from the store, dumped them in with the ice, let everything mix, and boom.

a full fill of the thing would last like 2 weeks if we were not having some party and throwing alcohol in it.. It was solid as could be.

Pretty much the greatest. So easy to refill, too because it did the mixing for you.

Def making a shot ski from my old Atomic Thugs.

My room mate has a GF Grill, mini fridge, plus he's taking a chef course, so i'm set there.

My dorm room set up is 4 bedrooms, me, my friend and 2 czecks), 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/living room, its pretty sweet.)
Common Room:
· Couch and chair
· 2 coffee tables
· 32” television
· Table and chairs
· Refrigerator
· Oven and stove range
· Microwave

I'm buying a blender. might do a re arrangable mini golf hole. shouldn't be that hard. I will need to get lamps and lights, a gaming system( even though there is a games room in the building). i'm sure little things will pop up.

and i'm counting on the czecks to bring party ideas.

haha I'm pretty sure you guys were talking about my friends. They lived in millis and somehow barely got in trouble for it. They said it lasted them the whole first semester and only had to take it out after that. They left it in the bike room in Millis haha

My roomie and I had a quote board that we added to when memorable quotes were said. we'd add a new board for every new semester. It's been a few years, and we've taken the boards to each new place we've moved. We still read over the quotes from freshman year and reminisce on how much fun we had.
