yo wat is the coolest thing you've seen or heard of in someones dorm room cuz i'm looking for some awesome things to do. .

i've heard of having pets, poker tables/pong tables, dart boards and shit like that whats something fresh ns? you kno whats good

A lot of people like to put black lights and fill up used alcohol bottles with water and highlighter ink. Its actually pretty sick.

ill one up that..

i was doing an overnight at a school in ohio for laaax and when you walked into the room a giant canvas sheet lifted up and when you closed the door the canvas sheet dropped back down again. levers and pulleys and such made this possible. AND, across the from the entrance was an HD projector strung up from the ceiling. BOOM waall sized hd television.. i came

ill one up everyones entertainment center:
On my dorm floor we had a common room and we setup the ultimate playpen.
We had an LCD projector pointing to a screen on the wall that was around 12 ft. by 12 ft. Attached to the projector we had an xbox, ps2, xbox 360, and nintendo available for gaming. We also had two giant 3 ft tall amps and a mounted pole speaker. This shit bumpppeeedd and one time we put the speakers in the stairwell and blasted that shit until we got a noise complaint.

so i have a question relevant to this but it's not really thread worthy, so i'll post in here. Does anyone know a really creative way to keep skis in a dorm room? before people say it'll get stolen, we never leave our door unlocked when no one is in there. we never had problems with theft last year. the layout of my half of the room is like closet/built in dresser/bed/built in desk and thats it. and under the bed is a pain in the ass because everything else goes there.

someone on here has to know something ingenious.

Uhm, just stick them in the corner? I had a lofted bad and there was like a latterish construction of it on the ends, and the brakes just held the skis right on the end of the bed.

when i was in the dorms, i had extra space between the desk and window. i just put my skis there so everyone can see how cool i am. or i just left them in my closet or car. i thought it was pretty ingenious of me if i may say so myself.

^^^i dont know if thats the intended use, but i actually use these. you stick them through the wall (they make really tiny almost unnoticable holes) and then the hook part hangs through, lay your skis across them parralell to the wall. one edge on the hooks and the other against the wall.

i have snowboards hanging up all over my room and thats how i do it.

see there's no extra space between stuff for me, it's all end to end, and the closet is way too small and always pretty full.
and sweetum, i dig your idea, i never thought of that. but i really dont have any way to loft my bed.

thats exactly what i would love to do, but our walls seem to be as hard as concrete with paint on them. i can even use push pins. maybe if i got something that was crazy adhesive instead of it going into the wall, but was the same concept? hmm. that might be the winner.

Last year, my room mate and i took out our car systems and put them in our room.
Can you imagine the shock on girls face when we turned up our four 10's and their hair would start vibrating to the music.
Plus we hooked it up to the TV so call of duty... unbelievably crazy

In some cities, they have strippers that will come to your dorm and jello wrestle for 300 dollars (for two strippers)

If you get 10 guys to watch, 30 a person for like an hour of jello wrestling.....

last year we took the door of our floor to ceiling wardrobe and used it as a table for beer pong and used our chairs to hold up. it was legit we could just set it up and down whenever we needed it.

also get some sick speakers, whenever there is sick blasting from some1 room people always come to check it out.

makes friends with hot chicks, because 1) they're hot 2)hot chicks attract more hot chicks

and mini fridges full of alcohol, its the only thing its good for

i have a feeling that wouldn't work when its quite obvious there are 15+ plus people in there. if the sound of people is louder then the music blasting there not gonna leave.

and i doubt they would believe we were having a huge orgy somehow.

very true 15 is a lot, weve had that many once or twice, but our RA was out of town for that weekend, well, actually, we had a hall party, everyone just walked around the hall partying since the RA was gone

the RA on my floor was so chill, he didn't give a fuck, we would play beer pong in front of him and just walk around drinking everywhere, but the would rotate the RAs to different buildings and floors, and thats when it became a bitch.

somehow i only managed get written up twice, both happened in the same night. Should have had a $500 behaviour bond, 2 alcohol anonymous seminars and 2 write-ups things but i talked my way out of it and just a meeting with the head RA guy

my RA was gay jew, seriously.

but he was mad chill, but the RA from the other side of the hall was a complete ass, and the day he was gone was when we had the party

I wad being chased by an RA one night, but managed to lose them, avoiding the write up

My roommate wasn't so lucky, and had to attend some meeting shit for a month, but then one day he took his gf with him, and the RD was checking her out, so he let them stop going to meetings, really weird....

if you wanna take one thing out of this whole thread, do what I did..

make a tent out of your bed.. our beds had the ability to be lofted, so the bed stands were mad high.. throw bed sheets on them so it covers the whole thing up.. so prime for privacy ever having girls stay over.. I even had my computer monitor at the end of it so it was like a movie theatre.. definitely do it.
