New Line Blends?

Does anybody know anything about the new line blends... how do they preform in the groomers and on the jumps??

Looking for a fairly playful rockered ski primarily for skiing the park, but also with the ability to charge in pow. especially since im planning a trip out west this winter>.
Would this be a good ski for me-- 5'9, 155,

They're supposed to be great on jumps because they're pretty stiff and are pretty wide for a bigger landing platform.  If they're good in park then I'm sure they're fine for groomers, especially since they're so stiff.

Other options would be the ON3P Jeronimos and the 10/11 Kung Fujas.

I can only comment on the 08/09 model without the early rise.

It's a great ski to ride. Great in the park, because it's 100 underfoot, you get nice landings that spreads your weight. Rails, again the 100 underfoot makes it really good for getting on and off really clean.

Groomers, getting from edge to edge isn't as bad as you think. I can still charge down at a decent rate.

The new Blends are softer in flex with the early rise in the tip and tail.

I'd recommend getting them in 178 as your height and weight are similar to mine.

I rode them at on-snow, ill probably be buying a pair.  They arent THAT stiff.  Other than that,they are super fun, probably better for someone 160lbs+ who can actually flex out the ski.

I rode them to and i felt them to be quite soft i am 145lbs.

I rode these on the groomers and hated them. The blend without the early rise was my everyday ski in ohio, but with the early rise they were very loose and surfy feeling. I ha d to work way to hard to turn for my liking. I was hoping they would be sick with the touch of rocker so I could ski them as my everyday park ski again but I just want impressed. Not for me but to each his own.

does anyone have a pic of the rocker profile? will most likely get the blends anyways but just curious how much rocker they actually have. or if anyone knows where i can find a pic. havent found one yet though.

i got last years model without the early rise and they are so sick for doing just about anything. i live in edmonton alberta in the prairies so there isnt much for powder so i use mine mainly in the park and they are great for stomping bigger jumps because of the 100 underfoot, it just more to land on and it makes sliding rails a lot easier. when i do go out west i find they are good in powder being they are 100 underfoot. with the early rise they will only be better for skiing powder as well. on groomers i can really hold and edge and havnt had a problem with them yet, other then they chip kinda easily but hey, almost every ski does so no big. hope that helps
