im 5' 5" and its my first year park skiing, i weigh 100 lbs. I want a ski that will be good on jumps and rails. The only concern I have is that the shortest the T Hall comes in is a 166 would that be too long?
Well if your going to go with one of the 2 definitely go with the t halls because they are softer. and 166 is not too big at all. I'm around 5'6" and I ride a 171 and plan on getting a 182 this year.
a ski thats comparable to both thall and ar7 is the liberty lte has a great flex, stiff underfoot, but soft in tips and tails, super light, and one of the most durable skis out there. A beginner can definitely handle this ski and has lengths to fit it comes in 157, 164, 171, and 178
ive never ridden the ar7 but i have the thalls, they are a super fun ski. really light and super responsive. the flex is a bit differnt then any other park ski i have had. but now that i understand it i like it so much, there is no chatter when going over bumpy shit, very smooth ski and you could def rock a longer length. better to have a longer ski then a ski thats to short. good luck dude hope that helps
if it is your first year park skiing you r wasting whoevers cash your using on those skiis those are super nice skis for advanced skiiers its just not worth it go for a cheeper ski or rent a pair of skis for a year and see if u even like park skiing so my advise is to NOT GET EITHER SKIS! if u want armadas really really badly and u have lots of money floating around get el rays for your first year
