peel them off then use lighter fluid to get all the glue shit off

yep, pretty much.
the only problem you might have is that the area around the diecut could be faded since the sticker area has been covered up from the light fo so long. no big deal

heat the sticker up with a hairdryer, then remove it. there should be no gunk left on the skis

tear off, then rub sticky stuff with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.
hairdryer idea sounds easier though.
