Agreed. Same goes for computers. Apple destroys other computers in certain media fields, while Windows is leading. The reason for the price tag is because people are willing to pay that hefty price tag for the machine that can do it best.
For the price of my MacBook Pro, I could have the most tricked out computer, although I don't because I need the way it handles all photography. The 8gb ram I have makes up for all
Yeah, its just the apple name that keeps it goin.
Unless your talking about the iPhone 4, don't jump to conclusions. I purchased an iPhone on day 1 when it was release and upgraded to the 3gs and loved it. I paid $10 a month for a service plan through at&t through the family plan along with the $20 media package. Never any complaints whatsoever.
In February, my family switched to verizon so I had to drop the iPhone. I picked up the Droid and had it for two weeks before sending it back. The phone was a pain in the neck to use, the chrome finish around the edges chipped within a few days, and it weighed a brick. I picked up the Eris at that point and had it for about a week before returning it due to how slow it was, battery life, and the flow. Then I had an HTC HD2 for most of the summer and it was pretty nice, strong build, and awesome screen, but it had bad freezing errors and battery life, I went through two of them. About three weeks ago, I got the Droid X before it's release and it was smooth and all, but the ease of use wasn't there and it was having major freezing errors and dropped calls like a mother.
Nevertheless, I just settled with a Blackberry Bold 9700 as it's a reliable phone and haven't had any issues or complaints since. Good email use and does the job.
