Itunes help.... Need to get songs from a mac desktop to a mac book pro.

Title pretty much says it all. I recently got an mac book pro and I need to transfer all my songs from my home computer to my new one. Any help will only be taken tonight because Im moving into my dorm tomorrow morning.... Thanks NS!!!

When you first setup your comp, was migration assistant not part of it?

my dude!!! take your lap top and desktop turn them both to i tunes.

click where it says i tunes click on preferences

at the top click on sharing

click share entire library and make sure you dont need a password

the two computers will hook eachother up via wifi


make sure your on the same network though thats key you know how to check wifi networks yeah??

on a side note i want to change my ns name to schoonbaker... i think i may do that

Oops wasn't done yet. If you can't figure out home sharing, you can always create a wireless connections (or usb or ethernet) between the 2 computers and just drag your iTunes foldr from one comp to other.
