2010 SCOTT P3?

are they yay or nay? yes or no? good or bad? awesome or shit? cause i really want to get a pair, but only have heard bad things? someone prove me wrong!!!

and i would also like to know about the Henrik Harlaut promodels from Ninthward, can anyone tell me what they think, and what i would expect with those too?

Ummmm I have no info on the p3s but i would say they are a close comparison to the line invaders/abangs. Softer ski made for park. Now I've seen pics of that one kid who wanted to sell twalls pair. But that was a pro's ski of course it would be chipped up he gets them for free. But if you take good care of the skis they will last you a good 2 seasons. If you find a pair snag em up! Thats my 2 cents. I have no info on 9thward sorry.

i know scott discontinuead their P4, the only really good ski in their lineup...

the p3's are the exact opposite, they are a very stiff park/pipe ski.

i have a pair of the 07/08's (white w/colored tips/tails) and they are awesome skis, super poppy, fast, stiff, carve great, and durable. the only reason i am not still riding mine/selling mine is i wanted a softer and longer park ski.

P4 is in the line for 2010.11 just carryover, same graphics, same ski..

Go ski the Mega Dozer after P4 being my go to ski everyday unless I was in the park I did not touch my P4's once I got on the Mega Dozer last year...

ok, my bad, i was a bit frightened, cause i straight up loved my p4, it charges super hard, especially in shitty conditions !

some questions bout the dozer; is it rockered?
and is it still as stiff/charging as the p4?

just wondering, what are the specs on the punisher jibs, and are you planning on bindings in the near future?

the scott usa site has the punisher jib as a clickable link, but the only thing that shows up is the picture of the skis. also when youre looking at specific hardgoods there is a link to a binding page, but when you click the link it says "no product, sorry" is scott going to carry rebranded bindings or are you developing a new binding altogether?

i have heard that they are great on jumps hence the stiffness. Their edges and sidewalls are not known to last when hitting rails

Incorrect God. I am looking at a 2010/11 catalog right meow...Right next to the new Punisher is...wait for it.... a P4...
However, you are correct in saying that it is a rippin ski. So much fun and so versatile for its size.

The P3 is a good ski. It is stiff though. If you are looking for something that you want to butter around on I would look elsewhere.

i like how on scott usa, when you click on a ski then look under the wintersports bar and it says bindings, but nothing pulls up

Mega is not as stiff but rips as does dozer, both have twin rocker which allows them to still ski great on groomers/on piste..You can def charge just as hard on Mega/Dozer as P4. They have both been getting some really good reviews in the magazines so far!

As for the Pun Jibs we are still working on the website, specs will be up very soon. They are same dimensions as the 2010 P3..

Bindings: We are not planning on making/rebranding any in the USA right now, the reason the link is there is because we do sell rebranded Salomon bindings in Europe. I think that got everyones Q's...if not fire away and I will try to answer them all.

Are you talking all around the mountain or just park? I ski the Punisher in the park, not Pun Jib..Super fun and playful...Yet a little wider under foot than the jib. If you like slight rocker to play in the park then you could rip the Dozer everywhere but 100mm under foot is pretty big for rails..

100mm isn't big for rails by any means, look at how many kids ridhe hellbents in the park and slay them on rails, hell i like the feel of a 120+ underfoot ski on rails more then my park ski. It's just a matter of getting use to having extra ski to handel

Compare the amount of kids who ride hellbents in the park to 70-95mm skis underfoot and I will bet your talking about 5% of the population..

I think its actually easier if your learning on a wider ski but it all comes down to personal preference..But if your riding park 95% of the time I wouldn't recommend a ski 100+ underfoot..

Nope I personally haven't sorry, want to go there..

Talking more generally than just one resort..i.e. if all those kids at Stevens pass compare that number versus lets say Summit County, CO parks then your talking about 5% I would guess...

I think we all wish we could ski fat skis everyday and hit both Pow and Parks that would be pretty damn sick...Don't you think?

there have been reports of severe durability issues with the previous years p3s, has scott addressed these issue

We are always striving to make skis stronger. When sliding rails you have the weight of a person landing on a metal object, something is going to eventually give way.

there seem to be durability horror stories from every company at one time or another, and with that in mind its not all of the skis anyways, my 07/08 p3s have been bomber, the only reason i dont ride them still is i wanted to try something longer and softer, aside from that they have held up amazingly, no core shots, edge damage, a little topsheet damage, but hardly anything really.

my personal experience with scott has been a great one.
