NS theme camp at Burning Man

I wanted to create this thread, but couldn't decide where it belongs, as you can see, I decided site discussion.


So, in not so many days away, I will be attending my first burning man. I've been thinking about and planning this for some time, but ultimately, I am going into this year with the mentality of it being a recon mission for future burns I will be attending.

Now, I don't know how many NS'ers attend burning man each year, and if that number is going up or not. But a week or so ago an amazing idea dawned upon me for a theme camp. It doesn't have to exclusive to NS members, or skiers, but I figure NS is a good base of people to start with. I am thinking "we" should build a dry slope jib park theme camp. set up a few rails, jibs, whatever and bring a bunch of ghetto skis so anyone and everyone can come by our camp and do a bit of skiing (and snowboarding) on the playa.



I am obviously not suggesting this for this years burn, because, well, it just won't happen. Possibly next years Burning Man, or sometime in the new future.


this thread is to see what NS thinks about the idea, brain storming the logistics of the project, and perhaps the need of a cult for those that want to be involved?
