Sick, for the price it slays the 17 in mac I was told to buy for running my civil engineering programs off of ($2.2k). This fall will be my first semester of college so I don't think I'll be needing to upgrade the RAM untill my 2nd year. I plan to have my friend help me with the upgrades because it is mad cheaper.. by alot. But I need to lookin to the Nvidia 9200m graphics card.
Ok I'll look into it, I was told that the programs were starting to be mac-usable but autoCAD and such programs have been worked on PCs mainly.
It isnt so much software, its more of how fast the processor is. I was told an intel i5 would be decent and an i7 would be money. so an i7 in the macbook pro world would run me about 2200 bones. this latitude obviously has a smaller screen at 14inches but its faster than the 17in macbook. and less than half the price at about 633 bones... after upgrades ill be looking at about $1000.
