I found a great deal on three different choices of ninthward skis, about $370 for either le comte pro, max peters pro, or laurent thevenets pro, i like skiing mostly park , with some powder, about 70% park 15% pow and 15% groomers, so which one would be better suited for what i like?
If your a bigger dude get the LT's. They are a little beefier than the le comptes. I have the LT's and love them. They rip in the park and do ok in the pow.
oh ok haha why didnt they just delete advertising and make them pay for what they did advertise instead of ruining it for other people who have nothing to do with it?
I have LeConte pro from 08-09 and they didn't change since now. It works well in the park and with the apropriate boots , they are very manoeuvrable. I cant say for the pow.
im getting spks, so are you enjoying them? like are they a fun ski to ride on, good/bad on jumps, jibs, groomers? cause i also found a deal for line afterbangs for 260 and i might go for that
There was a dispute between Ninthward and NS (and a few other companies) over an advertising deal a few years back. Our official stance is that we've let bygones be bygones, its not cool holding a grudge this long anyways.
i love my hhp's theyre fairly durable and a decent park ski. ive noticed some amateur rides for 9th riding the le comte's so those would probably be an alright park ski choice also.
Yeah im enjoying them a lot. They have maybe 30 rides on them and they still have they same snap as the first day. I cant say if they are great on jumps, I didnt have the chance last season to try them with my new boots and my lange freestyle were getting me shin bang on each landing (to be honest my landing are definitively not the bests...ill work on them ..) . The skis are the bests I tried on rails thaugh. On the groomer it will depend on what kind of boots you will use. the stiffer they are and the more they are incline (without exaggeration) the more they will answer to your commands.
yeah but there supposedly good at jumps and rails, and i dont baby my skis. but im not sure how good le comtes, or max peters are, i cant find any hhps
I can't say how durable Line skis are, but I can tell you that my 9's are pretty bomber. They're made in the Elan factory, and they make some great skis. I hit some pretty gnarly rocks at Kicking Horse with my 190s and you'd never know it by looking at my bases.
