check out sheron jones (sp?) i saw her a couple weeks ago, id never heard of her before and it could have been the band playing with her that made her so funky and danceable but it was sick.

Ohio Players, Parliment of course, Sly and the Family Stone, Isley Brothers, and Confunkshun are all classic. Anything by Bootsie Collins is money in the bank. There's always Wild Cherry too and Stevie Wonder has a funky streak. You can't forget the king of it all James Brown either.
