So I am looking to buy a car, I'm not an NS subbie fan boy, but the WRX, specifically the sti (like everyone) has been a dream of mine for quite some time. the sti is not an option, so right now I'm looking at the WRX. I stumbled upon this little guy

the price is great, but it does have 200,000 miles on it. who hear, with the information offered on the car, would advise me to look further into the car, and if all seems to be intact and in working order, consider purchase
or not even bother due to the high mileage

No. 200k? not worth it. It may work great for right now, give it another 30k and oh! there goes your head gasket. And 2002 is the worst year you could get. The transmissions, glassmissions, break super easy. Save up two more grand, find another one.

I've never had a problem with my 2002, but it is too much mileage on it to be worth buying.

As a general rule, look for older cars with lower mileage. Yes, I am aware that this is a slightly oxymoronic statement. It just involves being picky and a little bit of luck.

Pick out like, 3 cars that you like

WRX Wagon
WRX Sedan
Maybe go all the way back to the 2.5 RS even?

Set up your autotrader search, and go.

Remember, nothing depreciates a car faster than time. Nothing.
