XBOX 360 NTFS support!!!!

I just bought a 1tb toshiba hd not realizing that its formatted in NTFS instead of FAT32 now my xbox wont read it is there any way around this? any updates i dont have? any help would be appreciated

Im pretty sure you have to partition a 16 gb section of that drive to be xbox compatible.
Im not 100% positive though, I dont have an xbox

Idk about windows, but on linux there is a really handy program called GParted that will let you reformat any drive.

Google around to see how to do it on windows.

could you tell me how to do this or some articles? also does that mean only 16 gb  will be useable on the xbox?

yes
its a dumb move by microsoft, but yes only the 16 gb part of your drive will be usable

little off topic but...

my buddy gave my his rrod box and I fixed it. bought some cords, just need a controller and hdd.

I have an extra flash drive, can I reformat that so it can work as an xbox hdd? obviously 2gb is small compared to the standard 20, but I just want to save my gamertag and play games online.

I made it easy to read haha

couldnt you just plug it into your computer, go to my computer, right click and select format, then go from there? or does that not work cuz microsoft is gai?

if you know enough about computers to crack your computer case open and start swap'n cables around, snag one of these.

real handy thing to have around even if you do end up plugging it into your motherboard.
