Problems with google chrome

It seems NS is a huge memory hog in google chrome, also just had 3 tabs(NSG, a profile, reply page) of NS crash at the same time and this has been happening to me more and more frequently.

Its not unusual for me to see NS at like 400,000K when i open chromes task manager.

Could it be related to the adds? because they never load for me either.

Man, I have been having the same darn problem. It happens really often, and only with NS. Randomly crashing.

i just switched to chrome because safari crashed so much on ns. i've never had any problems even with lots of windows and tabs open

have any of you been having problems with facebook on safari or firefox ? ill go to click and profile or a picture and i just get a blank white page and it wont reload or refresh. i usually have to X out the whole tab or quit the application, wait a little bit and then it comes back but it just does the same thing over again. pissin meh offff

I have 11 tabs open in Chrome, including NS, and don't have any problems.

The only thing that is weird, is after I leave my computer, and the screen saver kicks in, it slow my computer down a TON when I wake it back up. It takes all the tabs about a minute each to reload.

i have had no problems with chrome and ns, i usually have about 6 or 7 ns tabs open, along with gmail, facebook, stumbleupon, and a bunch of other random tabs. i do have a few slow downs here and there, but that is because the wireless signal in my room is absolutely horrendous.

have you tried turning the fancy editor off? that makes a world of a difference when loading reply pages

i have google chrome for almost 2y now and never had any real problems...
it does overflow sometimes, but nothing out of the ordinary....

just close your browser regularly, don't stay on it a whole day just making new tabs and clicking away the old ones ....

what version are you guys running? I'm on 6.0.472.33 beta and I fuckin love it.

ns does tend to be a resource hog sometimes but mostly everything works out

Strange, that's never happened to me. I can have multiple windows or tabs open and it never crashes.

same here..when I log onto NS I open a thread in a different tab that I want to read from the night before (usually about 15-20 threads) and I've never had google chrome even skip a beat...its weird that other people are having problems with just a few tabs

i use chrome now because scrolling up in a page in safari stopped working (?) on my computer and now chrome is just as sucky.

it tells me that the certificate for NS is bad and that the website can be dangerous to my computer. also whenever i click on a thread think it will randomly open another tab with advertising. its kinda annoying. any suggestions?

sounds like something is up with your computer? virus scan and adware scan perhaps?

Yeah why does NS always make browsers crash? It makes Firefox crash every few hours, and I have chrome on my other computer and it crashes that once in a while.

For the memory problem, i remember a while back Firefox had HUGE troubles with using major quantities of memory the longer it was open. Didn't matter which website. Chrome might be going through the same thing. Chrome might be going through the same thing depending on what addons you have and also what you want it to do.
