South bend

so today i was at a flea market and bought some bamboo rods.  I did some research and found out that one might be a super valuble antique 

so ns have you ever heard of south bend fly fishing rods?

i just bought a brass leader from south bend at wal-mart a few days ago. it might vintage, maybe valuable. i don't know. if they sell south bend at wal-mart it kinda gives you an idea of the brand exclusivity of south bend.

ive heard of south bend as a company but nothing about their bamboo rods, sounds legit though, it could be worth some money
