it all depends,. there are so many factors to take into account when making a burger... or sandwich for that matter. you have to consider:

patty thickness
meat quality
grilled vs. broiled vs. fried etc.
bun types available
cheeses available
condiments available
other toppings available

depending on the above portions of the burger, one must make an accurate asessment of the ingredients with regard to personal taste and then create The Burger.

but im a fan of a&w papa burgers.

Ketchup, mustard, cheese (just cheddar or swiss) AND cheez whiz, relish, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo.

When I think about it I think I'll stop putting both real cheese and cheez whiz, because cheez whiz may yet be the worst condiment ever and I still eat it. Some people put it on their toast in the morning???

Alright the patties gotta be barbqed with a bit of bbq sauce. then right before its done, you gotta put on a slice of cheese. not that fake shit that tastes like plastic, but real cheese. then throw some bacon on top for sure. then your gonna need a bit of ketchup, some miracle whip, mustard (honey or dijon), onions, tomato, bit of lettuce (but only if you eat that shit quick - it gets soggy after like 5 minutes), pickles, and put it all on a toasted sesame/poppy seed bun. fuck now im hungry, you shitheads, and all i have to eat is wheat thins.

like if you make it at home and put a whole bunch of spices and shit in them then just the patty no bun no condiments.

how do y'all cook them shits though? i got like three no-fails

1. use one of those food mashers to cut some onions and red peppers into like a paste. mix it in with the meat before you cook it

2. soy sauce

3. garlic and worcestershire before you cook it

My ultimate burger was the wheelhouse they used to serve at bennigans. It had a round fried mozzarella cheese wheel. with marinara, lettucepickles onions. best ever.

But now when i make my own burger it must be a hand made patty, thick slice of gouda cheese, lettuce, pickle, onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayonaise, now thats a burger!
