2011 clicks, has anybody tried these out or know about them

So my top choices for skis from my local shop this year are definitely going to be the Nordica Dead Money, the ace of spades, orrrr the 2011 4frnt clicks. The problem is I know nothing about the clicks besides a thicker edge, medium stiffness, Steele Spence created them and a sick graphic lol.

Can anyone throw me some info on this ski so i can make a good choice???

So have you done any research? What size are you getting? I have heard good things about the durability of all 4fnt skis. http://www.4frnt.com/index.php/en/clk-menu-item

sadly the shop is only getting 167's so im getting those unless i get an order(dont feel like payin it) im 5'8-5'9 and 160 165. The things is from what i have read from "experts " on line and the shop is that they are incredibly durable and all their skis are made pro model. (which if you dont know kids, your a bangs are not exactly the same a bangs will wesson is riding fyi sorry lol) so they are the pro model cuz 4 frnt is legit like that.

But NS research shows that kids on here hate them and they break easily so I want to know from someone who has been riding these for some good quality info

the durability is great, just not so much for the top sheets.

4frnts dont have the greatest rep for durability. My topsheets chipped like a bitch and ive heard of many problems.

I have the CRJ's. The physical durability of the ski itself is really good. i've put them through some sketch situations and i only got 2 core shots this year when i would've gotten at least 5 or 6 in other skis. the only problem is that the top sheet really likes to take it's clothes off and lose them so to speak.

Thats just what i have heard before, the way i see it is that there skis could possibly be made with better care and mabe just maybe better spec. but i dont know for sure.

and alright i can live with top sheet damageive rode a bangs before so i could care less for top sheet lol

not with 4frnts. same ski. not sure about line but i doubt they change the quality.

i had two pairs of STLs and they were a really fun ski. However, they didn't last long their durability was not that good. However I ripped a lot of park with them, i think that if I used them for the mt the would have lasted a while. Long story short, if you buy something Steele Spence designed and dont beat on them, they will probably be a sweet ski

Well I know how it works for xc racing skis. What happens is skis get inspected pretty closely when they are made, and the ones that have the absolutely best bases, no microscopic flaws at all, those are the ones that get set aside for the pro racers at the factory. Now the difference between these, and the skis normal non-factory racers will use is barely noticeable for you and me. They will probably be a little bit quicker. As far as I know no skis are made just for the pros, but they might be getting the finer results.

Now the difference here shouldn't affect the durability of skis, etc. (Atleast not if the company is properly legit)

On a different note though, if for example W. Wesson wanted afterbangs with faster sintered bases (instead of extruded bases which requires less maintenance, but is slower, and what the abangs come with) I'm sure Line might make him a pair.

What should also be noted is that a big percentage of the pros will ride next years skis for most of the season.. An since most of these skis are prototype (or something like that), they might actually be "worse" than the skis you can buy in the store..

Some are (Dumont doesn't use those pieces of shit Salomon sells to the public). Abangs definitely are. The only lines that are/ were different were Pollards pro models.

Damn good answers lol yea i think both the ace of spades or the clicks will do just fine for me seeing as i ride on the east coast, and since i have some beat of up chronics to ride around all over the mountain, im all set

seriously dont go with the clicks. they are 4frnt's pricepoint, beginner park ski. the ace of spades are qual as fuck, top of the line

Yeah, I would recommend the Ace of Spades instead of those two other skis. I have heard nothing but positive about it..

At windells session 3 a kid in my cabin snapped his 2011 clicks the very first day of the session coming up barely short on a small jump and it was the first time he had used them. (the kid wasn't fat or anything)
