The wire got nicked when i was skiing, but it didnt do anything to the sound and i waterproofed it so nothing else could go wrong. they are in extremely good condition and i love these headphone so much, but its time for some new ones. btw i didnt just put athletic tape on the exposed wire i wrapped it in plastic and then sealed it with the tape.
