So i paid to go see their concert last night at the Sturgis Rally. Rev Theory played first and they were pretty damn good then Alice In Chains played and they fucking blew me away..... hearing The Rooster live was almost a spirtual experiance
Guns and Roses haven't played a concert for 4 years, they haven't played a concert in North America for 10
now Alice In Chains got done playing at 10:55. Guns and roses didn't start playing until 12:40.
People were pissed. Started chanting thins like "Bullshit!" and "Asshole Rose!" (instead of axel) and throwing things on the stage. They gave no reason for the delay and with the crowd i honestly thought it was going to be a riot.
Eventually they did come out and started playing. Unfortunately they played mostly stuff from their new album Chinese Democracy, and it kind of sucked but they did play like 3 of their old songs (Paradise City, Sweet Child of Mine, and Welcome to the Jungle) which was pretty decent.
But my main point is that after all this time Axel Rose is still a bit of a whiny bitch, but at least i can say i saw one of their concerts now. IF they come to your town be warned that you might be a bit dissapointed
