When Will Progression Stop?

This came to me today but skiing cant just keep progressing at this exponential rate as it is today. Triple flips are nuts as is and next year quads will probably be tried but 5-6 flips for next years to come? I cant see it ever happening. The human body can only do so much and take so much abuse. A jump that would be able to launch you enough to be capable of doing maneuvers that insane would take a LOT of snow and if you bailed on it the effects are endless. It could end your career. I find 100 foot tables scary enough without even spinning them but imagine a 200 foot table. Im not saying that different variations of spins and flips cant be found but it will all stop somewhere. When do you think progression will end?

It'll turn towards creativity. There's a limit to how big people can go, but it'll be cool to see where it'll go. The subjects also been beaten to death.

I don't think it will be stopped but halted people will just find new ways to go bigger and better but some time in the future it may stop just hoping its not in my life time.




The same exact question can be asked in the world when will progression be stopped when will the what seamed impossible become the possible? It has happened before people thinking that they have reached a climax of the universe when they turned the corned and found something else that enlightened a new era. we may not find progression on earth but space, different planets, other life?\

You cant look at what we have achieved and think that is all we can achieve you have to think what haven't we achieved and what we can.

for one thing, i know you just took Mike Hornbecks "exponential rate" from Refresh. I know you did. Don't lie. Plus That jump would probably end your life if you bailed. Not your career.

progression will never stop lol, just slow a bit down maybe.. i think in some years, you will see double corks with double tail, swaping a lot of grabs, maybe Favre grabs, and more triples of course
