i just won an auction on ebay for used a-frames. the kid wants me to pay $10 bucks in shipping. ive never bought anything on ebay before, so i dont know if people usually charge a ton for shipping, but 10 bucks seems way too much considering Priority Mail says they will ship anything under a pound for $3.85.

alot of people extort money on shipping, but 10 bucks isnt all the bad, hes just probably makin a flat cost in case you live in like japan or someshoit

he didnt declare a shipping rate when he posted the auction. he told me to email him my adress so he could calculate the shipping costs. we both live in United States so it should definetly not cost 10 bucks.

i know people that sell stuff on ebay and actually admit that they just screw people over on shipping. regular ground shipping for your goggles shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 bucks. I dont know what the ebay rules are if they dont post a shipping price but sometimes sellers will actually include a copy of the receipt to prove the shipping cost. ask him to do that.

i know camera's sell at a great deal on ebay, but with $40 shipping for ground it makes you want bestbuy's free shipping...
