I am looking to buy a camera but i don't know if i wanna buy a DSLR or an HD video camera, this looks like its the best of both worlds. It shoots in 1080p and takes pretty good shots apparently. I know the camera sacrifices the performance of a true DSLR or HD Camera and I know there are good and bad reviews but I just wanna hear the opinions of a few fellow newschoolers.

Don't do it. Get a real camera. You'd regret making this purchase in no time at all

^this, get a t2i, relatively cheap for the body and the quality will blow this out of the water

thanks for the opinions, now what do you think would be more useful, a DSLR or HD camcorder? i am thinking DSLR
