well, at the moment we definitely won't seeing that obama is the president at the moment.

whereas bush most likely sits around his ranch not really doing too much all the time, so he's more open to doing things like this.

You guys didn't realize that Bush spent A LOT of time meeting with troops and their families. Most of it was without cameras and reporters. Unlike Obama, who makes every meeting a PR stunt.

Here's an article from the Washington Times (notorious liberal paper) about Bush and Cheney, and their meetings.

he's not president anymore so he has plenty of time to do that, and that he should because he's the reason they're all over there. he's basically doing what he SHOULD do and shouldn't be awarded anything over it.

for our country. C'mon. Partisanship aside, even Republicans and Conservatives can all agree that his was a failed presidency. He had some of the worst Domestic and Foreign policy to ever be employed by a presidency, he started 2 wars, put our education system in ruin, ruined our standing in the international community, and set us back 60 years in environmental progress by passing his midnight laws at the end of his term.

Yes, because Bush wrote 4000 letter from November, when Obama was elected, to the article, in December.

That what I was kinda getting at. It's a very left leaning paper, and even they decided that it was worth running that article.

Granted, it was after the election, so they had no reason to keep running all the anti-republican that they had been for the last few years before that.

And Arabian, the only point I'm trying to make, is that you never hear of Obama going to visit the troops. And the Obama-dick-sucking media would be all over it if he was.

Ecological Disaster: Joke. Almost every scientist, and even the White House agree, that the environmental impact will be absolute minimum.

Economy: He hasn't done shit. The economy is taking a shit day after day. Major companies and his own democrats are coming out saying that what he's doing is killing businesses and not stimulating the economy.

Immigration: Suing Arizona over a hugely popular and effective law must really wear him out.

Dept: Yeah, he's done a hell of a job fucking over the next 4 generations.

And just throwing this out here. Democrats made a HUGE deal about Bush going on vacation, to TEXAS, at HIS OWN HOUSE. But michelle is over in Spain, on a vacation that is costing tax payers $65,000 PER DAY. Such an awesome hippochatic attitude of the left.

Some guest speaker came to our high school, and through his business ties I guess he was able to meet all the presidents in the past 20 years. He said out of all the the ones hes meet bush was the nicest and funniest one he has meet yet. I believe he is a genuinely good guy, his politics just sucked not surprised he did this.

My only issue with this vacation of hers is that she was talking just a couple weeks ago about how we common people "Should eat our Spinach and vacation in the Gulf coast States"... couple weeks later she is eating food that is prepared by chefs that make the Iron Chefs look like amateurs and isn't even vacationing in the USA let alone the Gulf Coast. PR-wise it was a dumb move.

1. No. With the amount of chemical dispersants BP pumped into the spill, the biological damage will not heal for decades.

2. The bailout and other programs were attempts. MASSIVE attempts - though our economy is still doomed to collapse again before it finally starts really climbing back up, he still tried SOMETHING.

3. A hugely popular law *racist law that was just overturned for its inherent *racism. Remember the last time we let majority vote on issues? BAM prop 8.

4.Not a huge deal about vacation. Taking more vacations days than any other IN HISTORY in the middle of 2 wars and massive debt. And you're wrong about michelle obama. It's costing HER 65,000, not taxpayers. She went on a personal holiday with friends paying out of the Obama family pocket.


And this still doesn't justify Bush being a good president. We're off topic here. Please justify your views.

Maybe not sued, but it was overturned because it was poorly thought out, and caused undue and unconstitutionally disproportionate harm to a minority segment of the population. That was the judge's main reason.

Yeah, which I disagree with the judge countering it with THAT when that wasn't even mentioned in the initial brief. I thought judges weren't supposed to bring anything to the table and just be arbiters in the whole process.

No, in political judicial cases, judges actually do what their namesake implies. That's why it's such a huge deal electing Supreme Court judges.
