Recently there was a tornado in the eastern part of Montana. I found some crazy picutres and thought I'd share
Montana, not a hot bed of tornado activity, experienced a deadly storm in the NE corner of the state. The tornado tore through a farmhouse, leaving nothing but the foundation and twisted metal from machinery.
The sparsely populated area, lost two of its residents. The tornado struck the farm in Sheridan County and killed a teen boy and a man in his 40’s. An elderly woman was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the tornado touchdown.
Identification of the two victims and the third in the hospital have not yet been released pending information to the families. The tornado touched down west of Reserve, Montana before entering North Dakota – where it dissipated. Another tornado was seen in Flaxvill County, Montana.
Witnesses said the tornado just funneled from the sky to the farm – destroying everything on the property. Very rare for Montana, this is not the first tornado to hit in 2010. June 20th another twister ripped through an arena in Billings.
