Alright, so I have a question. I already search barred and found very little help. Im looking for some skis, but they have to be cheap and high quality. I worked my ass of this summer to get some money to buy myself a new pair of skis. I am looking to spend no more than 300$ so yes i know they may have to be a older years model. As long as they are good for park. Im trying to progress alot but cannot seem to find any cheap skis that are high quality. The only ones i have found are some line invaders that come with bindings for 299.99 Someone please let me know a good place to find some high quality but low cost skis. Thanks in advance. +k
moment rocker skis are sick msrp 300 dollars and its rockered which is sick for park skis. obviously if i were you i would say your height and weight and stuff. but the rockers are sick skis. Invaders are sick too and if you can find the abangs for cheap they are solid.
k2 extreme awesome underrated ski mostly caus it comes from a big company. but because it comes from such a large company its really easy to get it repaired under warranty they are a great company for stuff like that. Hope i helped
If it breaks, if you dont like it, if it doesnt match your clown suit outerwear getup, send it back for a full refund, no questions asked. Best warranty policy ever... though it does fuck your local ski shops. Let the argument spill into another thread for this however.
@ loafpark- Thanks man, You did help alot. I noticed alot of K2 skis seem heavier than normal. I'm going to look into the moments, my friend got a pair and he said he loved them.
@ Rowen- That does seem like a pretty good policy. I'll check that website out.
And just to let everyone know, im 5'9" 140 lbs. More suggestions are welcome.
We have some Volkl Ledge's from last season left over. Not a whole lot of sizes left but just a great park and pipe ski that you can abuse.. and it will want more. The Ledge is not rockered but if you're playing around in the park it's not necessary.
KK guys im also looking for some skis im like 13 and i was wondering if the New k2 press skis are any good i started skiing last year and i was also wandering if anyone could tell another that could compare to this ski in price, tech , and park thnx for the help and
If you want good bang for your buck, finding an older 08/09 pair would be a good way to go. I'd send you to the review section, but as there are like 501 ski reviews and no good sorting system... yeah, online shops are your best bet.
A lot of ski buying, at least for me, was buy it, try it, and if it turns out I dont like it, sell it and take a small hit to my wallet, get another pair and repeat. There are many skis out there that are durable and built well, but of those there are so many different shapes, sidecuts and flexes out there that even if you find a 'high quality' ski for cheap, you may just not like how it skis. Dont get disheartened, if anything, I'd go with your gut and just pull the trigger on the one you like best.
